What brands of freewheels are compatible with Drive wheels?
Since the hubs used in the drive wheels are manufactured at the Elitewheels factory, freehubs from other brands are incompatible. The hubs used in the Drive wheels passed our 20,000 km test. As long as you ride under normal conditions, the chance of the freewheel being damaged is very low. If you ride in extreme conditions, we recommend that you clean the freewheel every 3000 km.
Is there an internal nipple option?
Internal nipples are not available because carbon spoke nipples are specially treated. The contact angle between the spokes and the spoke holes is extremely important. The spokes must not directly come into direct contact with the rim, otherwise there is a high probability of spoke breakage.
Can I upgrade to 6 bolts?
Yes. Drive uses center lock hubs by default, but if you want to use 6 bolt, contact us and we'll send you an adapter at no extra cost
Do ceramic bearings break easily?
As all of our hubs have high precision manufacturing tolerances, bearing play is significantly reduced. For this reason, the likelihood of bearing damage is extremely low.
What does the rider weight limit include?
The rider weight limit includes the total weight of the rider's bicycle equipment and any other accessories. Please do not exceed this weight.
What tire pressures should I run?
The best inflation pressure for you depends on many factors: rim width, type of bike and tyres, rider weight, road conditions and weather conditions. Please see our user guide for more information.
How strong are your carbon rims? What happens if I break one?
Each of our carbon rims has been rigorously tested before shipment. We are so confident in the quality of our rims that we offer a 3 year warranty on each one. We also offer a replacement policy in the event of an accident. To learn more, please see our warranty page .
What happens if a carbon spoke breaks?

Are carbon spokes covered by warranty?
Our standard 3-year warranty and our extended 5-year warranty cover carbon spokes if damaged by non-external factors. This means that they are only covered in the event of a manufacturing defect. For more information on our warranty .
Marvel Disc wheels are available in multiple depths. Their aerodynamic design makes them ideal for training and racing, saving you precious watts. The rims are designed to be strong and stiff, providing a durable, long-lasting wheel, and providing excellent power transfer during hard efforts.
Marvel Disc wheels feature high flange hubs that provide greater lateral stiffness, improving stability. The front and rear wheel hubs feature ceramic bearings with an extremely low coefficient of friction, saving you valuable watts. The front hub uses 6803 ceramic bearings and the rear hub uses three 6803 bearings and one 6903 bearing. The larger the bearing, the better the stiffness.
Marvel Disc wheels can also be upgraded to DT Swiss hubs upon request.
